Want to visit fun water parks in Bangalore with kids? Then check the guide below!

Bangalore, also known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of the southern state of Karnataka. Every year, a considerable amount of tourists crowd this place to experience the grandeur this city has to offer. Bangalore with its richness in the field of IT, education and research, also serves as a home to many well-maintained amusement parks and waterparks. These waterparks feature some of the best enthralling water rides along with many fun activities for both kids and adults. Thus, to get away from the scorching heat of the sun, a trip to Bangalore waterparks is the best thing that one can do.

As a Kolkata girl, I always wanted to travel to the other parts of this country to witness the diversity in culture, lifestyle as well as language. Hence, a trip to the Silicon Valley of India was always there in my mind. To turn that thought into action, I booked flight tickets for myself as well as my family at low cost from Intermiles. Then, I also booked a budget-friendly accommodation at Bloom Hotel for an entire week. After landing in the city, we were ready to explore the plushness and hence, paid our visit to some of the best water parks located in the city. The following are the ones where we made our presence.

Water World

Located at Fun World, this waterpark serves as one of the best places to spend your summer days. With a huge number of adrenaline-filled rides and activities, Water World is be considered to be one of the most promising waterparks in the entire country. We visited the place at around 11 am to avoid the late afternoon crowd. After that, we rented swimwear from the counter and headed to the premises. Inside the waterpark, we saw adventure slides like a tornado, boomerang and fantastic four. Besides these enthralling rides, Water World also features a kiddy pool and an artificial river to relax in. Thus, I would recommend you to visit the place at the earliest hour, so that you can enjoy all the fun activities that Water World has to offer.

GRS Fantasy Park

Away from the bustling crowd of the metropolitan city, Mysore presents an amusement park to keep the tourists and the locals entertained. This park is known as the GRS Fantasy Park. Spanning over 40 acres of land, GRS Fantasy Park is an award-winning park. This space is filled with fun water activities and adrenaline-filled rides. While I and my younger brother were exploring the different water slides, our parents were taking a tour of the rest of the park. Apart from fun water activities, the park also hosts many playgrounds where there are multiple other rides including swing chairs, float slides and catapult. Thus, if you are planning to take your family to a diverse theme park, in my opinion, GRS Fantasy Park is the best option.

Wonderla

Your Bangalore trip would be incomplete if you don’t explore the biggest amusement park of the city, Wonderla. Hosting plenty of water-based rides, this park also features numerous kid-safe rides like mushroom, mini Venice and jumping frog. To me, the most exciting part of Wonderla was the rain disco and wave pool. This park, however, does not limit its fun to water rides only. Inside the premises, you can witness virtual reality with its extraordinary technology. Wonderla is acclaimed to be one of the craziest and loudest amusement parks in India. Hence, if you love to explore amusement parks as I do, Wonderla would take care of all your needs. Wonderla also provides different packages for water as well as land rides. Thus, we would suggest you check out their official site and choose a suitable package prior to visit.

Neeladri Amusement & Water Parks

Located about 19km away from Bangalore City, Neeladri Amusement & Water Parks is one of the best places to take your family on a day tour. Sprawling over 30 acres of land, this park has room for both land and water rides. From taking a dip in the pool to exploring the different water slides, you can experience it all here. To make your outing a memorable one, Neeladri Amusement & Water Parks also features rides like Zyclone, guided cars, etc. If you are planning to explore this park along with your loved ones, we would recommend you to reach there by 11 AM, so that you can experience the best of both worlds!

Lumbini Gardens

Nestled in the serene beauty of Nagawara Lake, Lumbini Gardens is another top favourite waterpark of the Bangalore residents. The park runs along this lake for about 1.5 km. Featuring lakefront sitting, Lumbini Gardens has a plethora of water rides like wave pools and water slides. The park also hosts fine dining restaurants for guests that serve scrumptious North Indian and South Indian delicacies. If you have already planned a visit to this amazing park in your mind, in our opinion, you must take part in pedal boating which will definitely make your day a memorable one.

So, incorporate these in your sojourn itinerary and beat the summer heat at these thrilling Bangalore waterparks.
